Try to make it presentable and well-designed so that visitors to your profile page get a good idea of who you are and if the product or service that you offer is something they might be interested in.

If you create videos for YouTube or for your website, you have the opportunity to also post them to IBO. This just gets even more exposure for you and can easily lead to more subscribers and views.

How to Grow a YouTube Channel – Proven Methods

YouTube is one of the biggest social media platforms available today. In fact, it is actually more of a search engine than just an entertainment platform.

Think about it, everyone is searching for stuff these days, and where do they go to find it usually… YouTube! I know I often consult YouTube to find the answers to things. For instance, last week I needed to know how to tie a neck tie for an event my son was going to. I looked it up on YouTube and found a very helpful instructional video.

Millions of people are doing the exact same thing at any given time on YouTube and if you can tap into even a fraction of that, you can become successful.

Growing a YouTube channel is not that difficult if you follow these 4 steps. These are the exact things that all the successful YouTubers are doing because it works!

1. Be Consistent

The number one key to building a large following on any social media is to be consistent and this especially applies to YouTube. The more videos you create the greater your chances of getting views which often leads to subscribers.

Another reason to be consistent is because YouTube loves it! They want to see that you are always creating more content and that you are going to stick around a while.

The more videos you create, the more YouTube will start recommending you to viewers as well as rank you higher in the search.

When I first started my channel, I didn’t maintain much consistency and that really hurt me. But once I realized that I needed to constantly be producing content, my subscribers started to increase and my views went up dramatically.

The best way to be consistent is to try to create a new video and upload it every single day. Now this doesn’t make sense for some channels, but it does for most of them. Aim to create a video per day.

One of the things that I do is create a schedule for my week. So for instance, one day I will research all the topics I want to cover that week. Another day I will actually record the videos. And one day I will spend editing them and adding tags and descriptions. Then I set them up to be published… one per day.

Another strategy would be to just record, edit and publish all in one day. Do this every single day and you are good to go. Just do what works best with your own personal schedule. The key is to just keep creating!

2. Create Longer Videos – 7 to 10 minutes at least

The second thing you need to do if you want to grow your YouTube channel is to create longer videos. The point is to keep people on YouTube longer and with videos that last about 10 minutes on average, you will see better rankings within search.

Keep in mind that you want the viewer to watch the entire video and not just leave after 2 minutes, so make sure your content is useful and engaging. grow a youtube channel

A good tip is to tell the viewer that you are going to explain something (or show them something) at the end of the video. Use words like, “stay tuned til the end…” and “at the end of this video I’ll reveal my number one recommendation for….”

Creating listicals (videos that list things out) is another great way to get them to keep watching the entire video. For instance, do a video listing the 5 best cameras for vlogging or 10 websites that save you money. By listing things out, people will be forced to watch so that they can find out what the 5 things in the list are. Make sense?

3. Get More Engagement

Another thing that YouTube really likes is when people engage with your videos. By this I mean that they do more than just watch the video.

Different types of engagement include, liking the video, sharing on social media or email, commenting, and even subscribing. These are all things that you want your viewers to be doing with each and every video you create.

But how do you get people to engage with your videos? I have found that just asking them is a very effective approach. For instance, I will tell viewers to “like” my video if they found it useful. I also ask them to subscribe if they are not already a subscriber to my channel.

Simply providing a call to action like this actually gets people to take action. A lot of people forget that they can like or share a video, so if you remind them, they will most likely do it.

Asking a question of your viewers during your video is a great way to get people to comment. It can honestly be anything, but try to keep it relevant to the topic if possible.

4. Keep Viewers on YouTube

The final thing you should be doing is providing a way for your viewers to stay on YouTube even longer. Remember that YouTube wants people to stay on their platform… obviously… and rewards those channels that do this.

By adding cards to your videos linking to either one of your other videos or to another YouTuber’s video, keeps people on YouTube longer. You can also utilize the end screens to suggest another video and most people will click on it.

Place links to your other relevant videos within the description area and you might also mention that you have more videos on a particular topic that people can check out.

All of these things will get people to stay on the platform longer and thus give YouTube a reason to like you even more!!

Final Thoughts – Treat YouTube like a Business

Getting over 100k subscribers and massive hours of views may seem daunting, but if you apply these simple steps and remain focused, you WILL see success with YouTube.

The best advice I can give is to treat it like a business. Work hard and work consistently as if you were working a 9 to 5 job. This is after all YOUR business and the effort that you put in is equal to the success that you will achieve.

If you are a blogger or a website owner, you know that getting traffic to visit your site is the number one priority. In this article I am going to reveal 3 website traffic sources that I personally use and have seen great success with.

While I do believe that the best traffic is organic and driven by pure SEO strategies, every one needs a little help with their traffic here and there.

These sources are ones that I use and can verify that they work well if they are used correctly.

1. Kris Clicks

Kris Clicks features a simple to use platform that allows you to create banner or text ads. You can turn each ad off and on depending on the campaign you want to run at the time.

It also features complete tracking so you know exactly how each ad is doing and where the visitors are clicking once they land on your site.

Final Thoughts on Traffic Sources

These 3 website traffic sources are not the only ones you can use. There are dozens of great sources out there, but I just wanted to highlight 3 that you might not be aware of.

Remember that when using these types of traffic platforms, you need to be sending the traffic to either a high converting page or to an email opt-in. These types of links work best and you could just be wasting your time by strictly sending the traffic to a home page.

The traffic you will be getting from these sources will mostly be cold traffic, so keep that in mind. The page you send them to should entice them quickly or allow them to get more information or a freebie through an opt-in page.

Of these 3 traffic sources, I would have to say that Rebrandable Traffic is my favorite to use. Mostly because I have seen great conversions and received thousands of email leads as a result.

Best Social Media Platforms for Marketing Your Website

When it comes to marketing your website or blog, utilizing the power of social media can mean the difference between very little traffic and a virtual highway of traffic flooding your site daily.

It’s also important to know which ones are the most useful and how to effectively use each one. Being a member of a social media platform is not exactly the same as being a website promoter on social media. The tactics and strategies are slightly different.

For instance, your personal Instagram account might be full of pictures of your kids or meals you’ve thought were “instagramable.” But if you want to effectively promote your website, you need to make sure that the pictures you post are purposeful and nurture your brand.

Don’t get me wrong, being personal is also a good idea… you want to come across as human and approachable, but too much of that just dilutes the overall message you are trying to get out there.

So what are the best social media platforms for marketing your website?

1. Facebook

Practically everyone and their mother has a Facebook account. This is why using Facebook to market your website is such a good idea. EVERYONE will see it!

There are several ways you can go about using Facebook depending on how deep you want to get into it.

  • Personal FB Account – you probably already have one of these
  • Create a Seperate Page – Fan Page, Business Page, etc
  • Incognito FB Account – This is basically a second Personal account where you will only be promoting your site
  • Facebook Ads – I only recommend this is you know what you are doing and have an advertising budget
  • Join Groups – find ones that are in your niche

The easiest way to get started promoting your website with FB is using your personal account (or secondary one). Some people create a second personal account that they can set to public, this way their original personal account stays private and just between family and real friends.

Either way, you can simply start posting your most recent blog posts to your Facebook account and get engagement that way. I like to post immediately after I’ve published a blog, this way I don’t forget about it.

Make sure that you write a little bit about the article when you share on FB and try to ask a question to get comments and engagement. See below for an example…

You can also create a Facebook Page in order to promote your website. This is a great way to separate your business from your personal page and also great if you have more than one business or webpage, because you can create multiple pages.

No matter what you do, I would suggest joining FB groups that are in your particular niche. This allows you to interact with like-minded people and most of the time you can also promote your website within the group.

One thing I might add is that you need to make sure that you are commenting and liking other FB pages and profiles. You also want to make sure that you are not just posting your recent blog posts. Change it up a bit and share a funny meme or a motivational quote every once in a while. This way you don’t look like just a spam account.

2. Pinterest Pinterest

If you are not using Pinterest to promote your website, you are missing out. I discovered the power of Pinterest about a year and a half ago and it is one of the biggest sources of traffic for me.

The cool thing about Pinterest is that you can create different “boards” and pin pictures and content that relate to those boards. For instance, I have a “Work at Home” board and an “Affiliate Marketing Tools” board, among many others. So when I post a blog that has to do with either of those subjects, I make sure to pin it within that board.

People will follow your overall profile as well as just the boards, so it is important to make use of them.

When you post to Pinterest, you can easily copy your recent blog post URL and then paste it into Pinterest. Pinterest will then pull any photos that are on that page. You can then pick which photo you want to post and then assign it to a board.

After every blog post that I publish, I go over to Pinterest and Pin it to a board. I also write a little blurb about the post to entice people to click on it or re-pin it.

Keep in mind that if you paste the URL and pick a picture that way, the URL will be attached to the post and anyone who clicks on it will instantly be taken to your webpage.

3. Instagram

Instagram is another powerful way to build a brand and promote your website. You’ve probably heard the term “Instagram famous.” This refers to those people who have become famous and well-known just as a result of Instagram.

Now you don’t need to be Instagram Famous to successfully promote your website or build a strong brand. All you need to do is build a following of people who are interested in your niche.

Instagram allows you only one clickable link located on your profile page. So obviously this link should point to your website. You can choose to have it point to the homepage or to a high converting post.

So how do you build your following? It’s easier than you might think. Don’t just wait for people to find you on Instagram… you need to be proactive in order to get seen.

Here’s what I do…

  • Add relevant hashtags to all your Instagram posts
  • Like and comment on other people’s posts (make a few of them popular influencers, like Tony Robbins, etc.)
  • Follow a few new people each day (don’t go crazy with this or Instagram will get mad)
  • Alternate between posting your recent blog articles and something fun like a motivational meme

4. YouTube Youtube

While YouTube is not for everyone, if you can make videos and are comfortable either on camera or speaking on camera, then YouTube can be a valuable medium.

By taking blog posts that you’ve published and simply turning them into videos, you can have endless content to upload. I like to use the main subject of my blog posts and do screen casts to explain what I’m talking about.

The powerful thing about YouTube is that you have the ability to add links in your description box. Take full advantage of this!!! Also mention the links within your video so people will know they are there. This is called a Call to Action. If you tell people to click the link in the description, they will most likely do it.

You can use screen capture programs like Screencast-O-Matic that are extremely easy to use and capture video of your screen as you move about online.

Conclusion – The Social Media Age Social Media

Using Social Media is just a part of marketing now days. Everyone is on at least one of the platforms several times a day. They have access to it on their phones and to be quite honest, most people are addicted.

You might as well take advantage of the opportunity for this free traffic and exposure. My recommendation is to pick one and master it… learn everything you can about it and become extremely familiar with what it has to offer.

Then once you’ve built a following and have mastered that platform, add another one to your marketing portfolio. Just be careful not to fall into the trap of wasting time on these platforms. Market your website and move on. Because if you are not careful, you could waste hours lurking around when you could use that time to write another blog post or watch a training video.

Just remember that Social Media can be an asset as long as you don’t let it overtake you.

In today’s post, I want to talk about another excellent way to get traffic to your website. As I’m sure you know, the more traffic you get, the more likely you are to have conversions and thus make more money.

Although there are many different ways to get traffic, I always suggest picking 2-3 reliable ones to get started and once you have mastered those, you can start slowly adding more.

So if you are wondering how to get more traffic for your website, this just might be a good strategy to try out.

The strategy I want to talk about today is using Quora.com to get more traffic.

What is Quora?

Quora is a question and answer platform where people can ask questions and others can submit answers to those questions. Questions are asked within categories and people who have knowledge of those categories can answer.

Categories include topics such as…

  • YouTube Videos
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Websites
  • Blogging
  • Travel
  • Camping
  • Fitness
  • Fashion
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Etc, Etc, Etc

Literally ANYTHING you can think of is a “topic” in Quora. So if you have knowledge in a specific niche, you will be able to answer other people’s questions and point them towards your website or other links.

This is how you will gain traffic through the use of Quora. By answering questions that others have and also utilizing the other areas within Quora that allow you to place links. Keep reading to find out exactly where you can place your website links.

It is free to sign up at Quora and begin answering questions. Once you sign up, you can fill out your profile area and let people know what you are an expert in.


Utilizing the Profile Area

When it comes to getting traffic, you want to attract people who are interested in your particular niche. This leads to more conversions if you are helping people who are actively searching for an answer to a question. So be sure to utilize the profile area of Quora.

Within the profile area you can give a brief description of yourself and how you can help others. Also include any education, training, and any other relevant information.

This is a great place to add a link to all your Social Media…

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • YouTube Channel
  • Etc

How to Answer Questions and Add Links

When you fill out your profile area, you will be asked about what subjects you know about. Then when people have questions in that subject, you will be notified at the top of the Quora page.

Once you find a question that you want to answer, you simply click “answer” and a text box will appear where you can write, format and add links.

It is important to be thorough in your answers because those are the ones that tend to get “upvoted” and stay at the top. Therefore you will get more exposure as others come to that question to see the answers.

If you are looking to get traffic with this method, you will definitely want to add links to your website and specifically to a post or page that pertains to the question being asked.

Always remember to add value and provide links only if they will help in answering the question more fully. Don’t spam your links within Quora because no one likes that and you will eventually be known as a spammer.

To add a link to your text, simply highlight the words you want linked and then click the “link” button at the top right of the answer box (or hit CTRL+K). Insert the link to the page you want and then click “add”. This will add your link to the text.

You can also add pictures and graphics to your answers, however I would only advise doing this if it helps clarify the answer. I don’t usually add pictures to make it more appealing looking…… save that for your website. People just want answers on Quora and can get turned off by too many pics.


Proof of Views and Exposure

Answering other people’s questions is a great way to get more traffic. I’ve been using Quora for a little while now and I’ve already seen a huge increase in traffic because of the exposure I’ve gotten on the platform.

Some people click on the links in the answers, while others visit my Quora profile and click to my website from there. Either way, I’m getting more traffic and it’s generally from people who are searching for help… this means that they tend to convert much higher.

Quora is one of the best ways to get targeted traffic because it is free and your answers (links) stay on the site forever…. so the more you answer, the more exposure you will get and the more recurring traffic you can generate for the future.

Like I mentioned before, I always recommend finding 2-3 ways to generate traffic and spend some time mastering those and then slowly add more over time. The time that you spend getting this traffic will pay off for years to come.

How to Buy Targeted Website Traffic

When it comes to knowing how to buy targeted website traffic, the key is finding the right traffic platform. There are a ton of click through website platforms that really don’t translate into convertible traffic. The problem with most platforms is that you don’t have the ability to enter your own keywords that will actually target the traffic.

One incredible traffic platform that I have found is Rebrandable Traffic. It follows same the ad campaign building framework that the big PTC sites do… that is to say Google Adwords and Bing Ads. When creating a Google Adwords campaign, you have to choose keywords for the particular ad and landing page you will be sending your visitors to.

Rebrandable Traffic does the same thing. By researching and choosing the best keywords for your landing page, you will have a much better chance of converting visitors. And that is the main purpose of driving traffic to your website after all.

The first step is to join the Rebrandable Traffic Platform. It’s free to join and you only have to pay if you choose to purchase a credit package. After you sign up, you are immediately given 100 FREE credits to take the platform for a test drive.

Add First Campaign

Adding an ad campaign is relatively simple. However, there are a few steps that you will want to pay close attention to if you want real targeted traffic. I created a video walk through of exactly how to ad a campaign to Rebrandable Traffic.

Steps to Creating an Ad Campaign:

  1. Click on “My Campaigns” from the Navigation Menu
  2. Click “Create New Campaign”
  3. Enter a Campaign Name – One that will let you know which campaign it is
  4. Enter the destination URLRebrandable Traffic
  5. Change the “Traffic Origin URL” if desired to your website’s main address
  6. Enter a Campaign Visitor Limit (depending on how many credits you have)
  7. Enter Targeted Keywords (up to 10)
  8. Choose Traffic Types
  9. Click “Save Campaign”

Once you have created the campaign, you will need to “turn it on” in order for it to run. The campaign will automatically stop once it has reached the Campaign Visitor Limit that you set. To turn it back on, simply edit the campaign and change the visitor limit.

Purchase More Credits

Once you have used the 100 Free credits, you have the ability to purchase credit packages. You can buy visitors for as low as $0.0002 per visitor. There are several packages available to fit any budget and they are often on sale.

Review Traffic Breakdown

One tool that Rebrandable Traffic has is the ability to take a look at the traffic that is clicking on your links. You get to see who the visitor is, when they clicked on your link, how long they stayed, and what other actions/clicks they took. It is called the Traffic Breakdown, and it gives you a ton of information.

As you can see in the image above, there is a date given as well as the time. Next to that is the IP address of the visitor and then the amount of time (in minutes) that they stayed on my website. The next piece of information is the most valuable as it tells you what else they clicked on. In this case, the visitor clicked on the homepage and then to the upgrade link.

Turn Campaigns Back on When They End

Eventually your campaign will automatically turn off when you have run out of credits (the credit limit that you set for that particular ad campaign). So you may still have credits available, but if you set 100 credit limits for a specific campaign, it will stop running once it hits 100 visitors.

You will need to go in and edit the credit limit in order to be able to turn the campaign back on. If you don’t have any more credits to use, you will simply need to purchase more. I always try to wait til they are on sale to save a little bit more money. They go on sale pretty often, so this isn’t hard to do.

Once they are running smoothly and I’ve pinpointed which keywords are working the best, I usually transfer that campaign over to Bing Ads or Google Adwords. How to get more traffic for your website

Getting a ton of traffic to your website is the key to success. If no one ever visits your site, you will never make any money. It’s just math.

In this article, I’m going to discuss how to get more traffic for your website… the Top 5 Ways that I find useful. There are of course dozens of ways to drive traffic, but I just wanted to keep it simple and list a few that you may not have thought of using.

1. IBO Toolbox A Place to Network & Drop Article Links

There is a network/community that I like to interact with at a website called IBO Toolbox. There you can associate with other members and even send them private messages. There are rules regarding what you can send of course, because nobody likes spam… but you can engage with other members and create meaningful networks with others.

IBO Toolbox also has a great ads center where you can place ads to your business opportunities or websites and generate traffic that way.

I usually have about 2 or 3 ads running on IBO and I get pretty decent traffic as a result. Ads are free if you are utilizing their Credit system. You get credits several different ways including for logging in every day as well as 100 credits weekly every Sunday by taking a look at their newsletter. You can also pay for credit packages if you have a budget for that kind of thing. I personally like the free credits though.

Another great tool I find useful within IBO Toolbox is their dashboard wall, where you can put links to your recent articles. After I have written a blog post, I always head over to IBO and write a small post on the dashboard wall for others to see and hopefully get a few visitors from.  Here’s an example:

2. Rebrandable TrafficCheap and Targeted

Rebrandable Traffic is another great traffic source. Here you have the ability to set up Ad Campaigns and enter in your own targeted keywords.


As long as you concentrate on the best keywords for your website link, the traffic generated is typically targeted and of good quality. The thing that you don’t want to do is set up a generic campaign with no real target keyword market.

This traffic actually costs money, however it is extremely affordable and only costs pennies as opposed to dollars. You can buy a 1000 visitor package for only $8 ($6 when they are on sale).

3. Leveraging GoogleGoogle Plus & Search Console

One of the first things that I do after I finish creating a new blog post is post it on Google Plus. There are two main reasons why I do this… First, Google Plus is a great platform for posting links like that (better than Facebook or Twitter if you ask me), and Second, Google really likes it when you do this.

Think about it, getting ranked in Google will surely bring you more traffic, so why not post on one of Google’s very own platforms.

Google Search Console (formerly referred to as Webmaster Tools) is also a critical stop for me as soon as I post a new blog. After hitting publish on my website, I simply go to Google Search Console and ask Google to fetch my post. This basically just speeds up the indexing process.

4. SEO StrategyUsing Proper Techniques

Believe it or not, proper SEO strategy can be one of the best ways to get more traffic to your website. There are simple things that you should be doing when constructing your posts.

  • Meta Tags – Be sure to add Meta Tags to ALL your posts. This should include a Meta Title, Meta Description, and Keywords. Ideally your main keyword should be included either in the Title or Description (or both).
  • Video – Including a video on your posts if possible is also a great SEO strategy. If you don’t make your own videos, you can simply use one that compliments your post from YouTube.
  • Image – Images are always good to have within your content, because most people enjoy reading something with some imagery or pictures. But Google likes this too. Try to place a relevant image somewhere above the fold of your post.
  • Alt Tags – Always remember to use the Alt Tag of your images to add a little more SEO juice to the mix. Use your main keyword, or a tag that makes sense for the image.
  • Keywords – Your main keyword that you are targeting should be within the Title as well as the first paragraph.

There are a lot more SEO strategies you can implement, but these that I’ve just mentioned should ALWAYS be a part of your content creation routine.

5. Get More Comments – Website Engagement

The 5th way I like to get more traffic is by site engagement with comments. This is literally one of my favorite ways to get traffic. Once again, Google loves this and as a result you will see better website ranking and that means more traffic.

At the end of every blog post I try to ask visitors to leave a comment, especially if they have a question about something. This gives me insight into how my post is coming across (reading) to others. I can take that information and use it on future posts or even revise the current one so that it adds clarity if needed.

My favorite place to get comments is through the Wealthy Affiliate Site Comments platform. Wealthy Affiliate is where I get all of my training and tools for building websites. It’s a great place to start if you are a beginner because they have made it so simple and easy to follow along. And they have a ton of great tools that will explode your business and potential profit.

When I first started, I didn’t know exactly how to best use the traffic generating website. I created random campaigns and didn’t really utilize all the incredible tools that are provided. As you can see in the above snapshot, this visitor came to my link on 9/3/17 and stayed for 1:16 minutes. (The IP address is also given if you need that information.) This visitor also clicked on my home page and then to the upgrade page during their visit.

This report is also available for you to send to your customers if you are reselling the traffic to others.

Purchase More Credits – Fund successful campaigns

After you have gone through the original 100 credits that you get when you first sign up for RT, you will need to purchase more credits in order to continue running your successful campaigns.

The purchase price is broken down into several different packages. The lowest is only $8 and gives you 1000 visitors. So that comes to $0.008/visitor. The higher you go, the cheaper per visitor it becomes. The highest priced package is $175 for 200,000 visitors. This is equal to a little less than $0.001 per visitor.

So no matter what your budget is, you can find a credit package that works for you. Also, they OFTEN have credit Sales, so be on the lookout for those. This is a great opportunity to get a good deal on the packages. Usually it’s about 50% off.

Conclusion – My Final Thoughts and Recommendation

I am a big fan of Rebrandable Traffic because it is not like all the other “traffic exchanges” where you don’t really get a say in who is coming to your site. With RT, you get to pick keywords and set up real campaigns much like you would at Google Adwords or BingAds… however the price is MUCH cheaper.

My personal suggestion is to give it a try… especially since it is FREE to sign up and you get 100 credits to start. It’s a real easy way to find out if you like it or not.

Kris Clicks is a brand new platform designed to send traffic to your websites.  The idea is simple, you upload a banner image, add your website link, and enable the ad.  Poof… Traffic comes your way!

Upon signing up, you get 100 credits to try the system out.  This allows you to test drive the platform without having to commit.  I always like those types of websites…. show me what you can offer me and then I’ll decide if I want to purchase.

After you run through the first 100 credits, you then have to purchase a credit package if you want to continue running ads.  There are several price points that will fit any budget.  The lowest being 1000 credits for only $5.95.  The highest package is $144.95 and that gives you 45,000 credits.

Kris Clicks also has a referral program where you can earn money by referring others.  Anyone you refer gets 100 Free credits and you get a percentage of whatever they purchase.  I believe the commission rate is 25%.  So if your referrals purchase the largest package ($144.95), you would receive $36.24.

So far, I’ve had great success with Kris Clicks and the traffic that I’ve gotten has been quality traffic.  Most visitors tend to stay on my sites for an average of 3 minutes.  And many of them click on several pages throughout my site.
